Hailing from the Rio Grande Valley in south Texas, Ed received his BAH in Theatre Arts from Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi. While there he worked on both student projects as well as a founding member of the 10th St. Theatre. Starting as the theatre’s Production/Technical Chair he was soon elected to the Office of Vice-President for this recognized not-for-profit theatre.
Arriving in New York in 2001 he has worked on various projects, including the founding of his own SouthernHighland Productions. This includes time touring for Sail Production and Plaza Theatrical among others. He joined Truck Stop the musical in the role of Ben for the Long Island premier. Since then he has been asked to take over as director and to help the projectbthrough rewrites and production.
“This project is something that is very special to me. Not only because I have had the chance to watch and make it grow, but because of what it says. This is a message that needs to be presented, and to have such a vessel for it is nothing short of miraculous. Every step increases the talent level and viability of the show. I can truly not wait for the future with this.”
Some of Ed’s directing highlights include:

The Minstrel Players (Assistant Director)
